Writing about Seylo.

Boilerplate

One line. Seylo is the SRE agent for Kubernetes: it deploys, monitors and takes action on the clusters a company already runs.

Short. Seylo deploys, monitors and takes action on the Kubernetes clusters a company already runs, without taking its keys. An agent in the cluster connects outbound only, and Seylo stores no cloud keys. Nightshift, Seylo’s AI SRE, investigates alerts with numbered evidence, groups related alerts into one incident rooted at the cause, and proposes the fix; every fix is verified or undone. Observability data stays in the customer’s cluster, and cost is computed in the cluster with every price labelled by its source. Seylo is not a senior SRE yet; that is the direction, one verified kind of fix at a time.

Long. Seylo is built by Seylo Labs Private Limited, Erode, Tamil Nadu, India. It is an SRE agent for the customer’s own Kubernetes clusters on AKS, EKS, GKE, OKE or any conformant cluster. A single in-cluster agent dials out to Seylo; there is no inbound port, and Seylo stores no cloud keys. When an alert fires, Nightshift starts investigating on its own, gathers numbered evidence from the cluster, and answers in an SRE’s order: mitigate, fix, prevent. Alerts that the service map connects become one incident, walked to the service where the failure started and investigated once. A fix is applied only with a person’s approval, inside a signed, expiring grant, or for a class an admin let run unattended after it verified; afterwards Seylo checks the symptom is gone and undoes the fix if it is not. Metrics, logs and traces are stored in the customer’s cluster, so Seylo charges nothing per gigabyte. Deploys are read back to prove they landed, and anything owned by Argo CD, Flux or Helm is refused until the owner is acknowledged. Coding agents reach one namespace through seylo-mcp and never hold a cluster credential. Seylo opened as a public preview on 16 October 2026 and launches publicly on 8 November 2026, paid from the first day: $5 per managed vCPU per month, $6 per verified Nightshift fix after the first five (Seylo’s model tokens for the investigation included), and $20 per coding agent seat per month, paid before use.
